| Born in Staten Island, NY, John's interest
in acting began at an early age. One day, while watching Sesame
Street, he decided he would become the most famous muppet ever.
After a trip to Sesame World that same year, he learned that muppets
had a guy's hand up their rear all day. Disappointed, he decided
to simply be an actor.
Since moving to LA, John has most recently appeared (asleep)
in a Dodge commercial, on Quintuplets as a nerd, on Gilmore
Girls as a biker with a cramped leg, and on How I Met Your
Mother as a schlub. He longs to die on Lost, or possibly be
horrifically maimed on House. Previously, John
has graced the stage in much less stereotypical roles, as Lysander
in A Midsummer Night's Dream, the Ragpicker in an adaptation
of The Madwoman of Challiot, and as Inspector Foot in
Stoppard's
After Magritte. Other shows he has appeared in include
The
Good Woman of Setzuan, Playboy of the Western World, Fortinbras and Lysistrata.
John is an avid writer, and actively working on two scripts:
a short film he hopes to produce, and a longer independent
film called The Laws of Rock. Both of these are stepping stones
towards a greater goal: writing and starring in his own movies.
Later on, he plans to commit the ultimate industry faux pas/cliche
and demand to direct, at which point his future becomes uncertain.
